Like all artists, I dread my credit card bills... Reality hits at the beginning of every month thus the title of this painting. The subject matter for my work always come from the mundane; in a way, my creativity protects me from the day to day stress of life.

So painting about a version of my outstanding credit cards debt is a very valid act of responsibility;) I think...
